The notifications app as an app used by Nintendo or games to dymanicly send you notifications and news about games, current offers and other game notifications. It can be launched from any game via the HOME menu.
Known Issues
- The notifications app relies on an internet connection to the SpotPass service to receive notifications. SpotPass is no longer available as of April 8th 2024 rendering this app useless.
- It currently cant receive notifications in Cemu, as the app itself can't do that.
- The app can't redirect you to or back to an app or game
- The app can't remember that you've read a notification and always marks all notifications as unread on each boot.
- You cannot delete notifications.
- You cannot opt out of any notifications that allow you to do that.
Configuration
Game boots fine on standard settings. If any notifications are stored in the mlc folder and assigned to the current user, then the app will display them.
