GX2SetGPUFence is Cemu's first ever hack. It's implementation by Team Cemu was a sad one, as they did not want to implement any hacks into the Cemu emulator. Its creation was in in the 1.7.3-1.7.4 era as a way to counter the double buffered vsync used in games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
