Wii U Chat was a system application that would allow the users to make video calls to other users of the Wii U. If a user was being called they would get notified by the Wii U Gamepads HOME button blinking. It also allowed to draw on the video call screen. On November 8, 2017, Wii U Chat was permanently discontinued.
Known Issues
- Wii U chat reports that the online service is no longer available shortly after starting the app, when online is enabled. This can be seen as an error code (error 102-2882).
- If the native friend library (nn_fp.rpl) is pressent within the cafeLibs folder, then a different error code will immediately occur (error 199-9998). This error code is not dismissible if the native error app (erreula.rpl) is present.
- As Cemu can't title switch from many applications, the app wont redirect you back to the Wii U Menu after the error.
