Fast Racing Neo is a futuristic racing video game developed by Shin'en Multimedia and released for the Wii U in December 2015. It is often compared to Nintendo's F-Zero franchise. It is the second entry in the series, the first being Fast Racing League released on WiiWare for the Wii.
On NVIDIA drivers newer than 411.63, the game will crash upon crossing the finish line, and the last frame will be frozen to the screen. Use version 411.63 to prevent this from happening.
Graphics issues
Flickering graphics (mostly texture) and a overlaying effect that breaks into four squares depending on the track. This has been mostly fixed since v1.14.0 with updated drivers, but still happens when light pads are on screen at certain angles.
NVIDIA drivers 416.16 fixes these issues most of the time, but crashes, so is not recommended.
Very playable. Background music is fixed in this build as well as game performance. There is some flickering textures and a graphics overlay that is partly broken, but still doable
Runs very well. There are graphical issues sometimes. Cemu crashes whenever I hit an obstacle. The short cutscenes of each track before the races are not shown (a black screen appears).Note:I use Cemuhook.
No longer crashes when I hit an obstacle (unlike in 1.11.5d). Lesser graphical issues than 1.11.5d.The short cutscenes of each track before the races are not shown.Note: I use Cemuhook.
Cemuhook used. Graphical flickering. Black screen for 20-40 seconds between announcer revealing track and track actually loading. Strange squares when driving over water. EDIT: The map Hibashira Speedway is nearly unplayable, very bad flickering and bloom covering entire screen, and the track popping in right in front of the car.
