LEGO Dimensions features the same style of gameplay as the previous Lego video games of Traveller's Tales, in which up to two players control Lego minifigures based on various represented franchises. Players progress through linear levels, using their characters' abilities to solve puzzles, defeat enemies, and attempt to reach the level's end. Characters are entered into the game by placing their respective minifigures onto a USB toy pad, with each character possessing unique abilities that can be used to solve puzzles or reach hidden areas. Using a character from a certain franchise will also unlock that franchise's Adventure World, an open-world area for players to explore and complete in-game objectives.

Known Issues

  • Shadow in game look bugged when not in 720p.
  • Voice line audio quality is poor and also too quiet.
Wii U
Cemu

Configuration

  • This game does not require non-default settings to run properly but it's necessary to have an emulated or real LEGO Toy Pad connected.
  • You must connect the real LEGO Toy Pad before launching CEMU. Otherwise, it will not be recognized by CEMU.
  • If you don't have a Toy Pad, Cemu 2.4 and later include a virtual Toy Pad under Tools/Emulated USB Devices. Also Toy Pad emulator exists as a seperated cross-platform project, usable with CEMU and original WiiU
