Watch_Dogs is an action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It was released worldwide on 27 May 2014 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, while a Wii U version was released in November 2014. Set within a fictionalized version of Chicago, Illinois, the single-player story follows a hacker and his efforts to seek revenge after the killing of his niece. The open world design lets players freely roam the urban city, suburbs, open countryside, and run-down neighborhoods of Chicago.
Only starts in Vulkan, Cemu crashes as the first playable part begins. Before the point where the initial cutscene ends, it runs with occasional frame drops. OpenGL only shows the splash screen for Watch Dogs and the CPU and disk usage spike up to 99% utilization.
RAM and disk utilization most likely varies on a users device specifications, but assume OpenGL will spike utilization for both and use Vulkan for any future testing instead.
OpenGL, The game boots and gets stuck at the 'connecting to Ubisoft servers' screen at default settings, using my NNID profile dumped from Wii U. The initial loading and 'Installing files to NAND' bit worked fine though. After a successful boot, cemu's RAM usage spikes to 13 Gb before starting the game about 50% of the time. Further testing is needed.
Only starts using OpenGL renderer. Game crashes after intro cutscene while compiling shaders, memory usage climbs to 21GB before crashing. Setting to single core interpreter lets the game compile a bit further, crashing the game while building ingame scene. Deleting shaders after crash makes the game boot again.
