Splatoon is a third-person shooter video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Wii U, and released worldwide in May 2015. The game centers around characters known as Inklings—beings that can transform between humanoid and squid forms, and hide or swim through colored ink sprayed on surfaces using gun or brush-based weaponry. Splatoon features several game modes, including 4-on-4 online multiplayer and a single player campaign.
Splatoon sometimes has a shader issue in the Plaza. Doesn't affect gameplay but might be a bit distracting.

Arowana Mall has a black skybox, normal color appears if you stand in a certain position in the map.

Configuration
Runs with default settings, but tweaking is recommended. A full list of config options is available in the Config template's documentation. There are also graphic packs available.
Can't advance tutorial because swimming up walls doesn't work. Squid form doesn't submerge in ink properly. Bullet projectiles don't render but stains do. Camera glitches out under map sometimes.
No visible projectiles, squid form does not submerge properly, 10-12 fps when looking forward or when sky is in the background, 40-60 fps when sky is not visible and/or few objects visible. (such as looking at nearby wall or downward.)
No visible projectiles, squid form does not submerge properly, 33 fps when looking forward or when sky is in the background, 40-50 fps when sky is not visible and/or few objects visible/in a corridor. Does not seem to go above 50fps.
Menu is at 30 FPS, Loading screens between 30 and 60 FPS, Game runs between 5 and 10 FPS, despite the low Framerate it is playable, just need to figure out the whole control scheme (eg. move camera left or right). Missing textures (shooting Ink is not displayed, but is viewable on objects), "Okay" and "No" text missing in the menu.
Loading screens at 60 FPS, Menu over 30 FPS, In Game 12-13 FPS. Controller issues. When calibrated with PS4 controller, camera pans to the left, pressing LZ pans to the right. Mouse control still works with up and down only.
Was able to get past character creation screen (although the yes/no text for getting into the game isn't there still). Was able to move, but the horizontal axis is still not programmed in (also to move the vertical I had to hold the right mouse button). I was able to spray ink (which had collision and showed on the ground), throw ink-bombs, and turn into a squid. However the major bug holding me back from continuing (this was at the skate rank part where you had to turn into a squid and go into the ink to climb up a wall/ramp) was that I couldn't go into the ink. I heard from a friend that this was from GPU programming, although I haven't seen either of the two developers announce the reason so this is just pure speculation. And as for graphics, the skin is still shiny when it's not supposed to be that reflective, the textures do look okay and the shadows are also good. Also one more bug with the camera is that it'll pan down beneath the ground and thus making the character unable to move. Overall, I would say keep doing your work Cemu staff and I hope these problems will be fixed later on in a few patches!
Gyroscope sometimes glitches up and makes the camera stay under the ground. Can't complete the tutorial because I can't swim up the walls. Major slowdown when first shooting ink and trying to transform into a squid.
Loading screens and menu at 60 fps with and without sound. In game 20-30 fps with sound, 30-40 fps without sound(fps improved from 1.5.2). Still stuck at the "You can even swim up walls!" Part of the tutorial. Can rarely crash when sound is off(memory leak?).
Using a specific glitch caused by the emulator it is possible to temporarly submerge in the ink allowing to bypass the tutorial(This glitch is unreliable it may take up to an hour to complete the tutorial, recommend downloading a save). Everything works as it should avg. fps in the plaza is 5-15 w/sound and 20 w/o sound , the shops, a solid 60 fps (w/ and w/o sound) . The single player missions work, but they can crash often and the ink glitch is still present, avg. fps 20(w/sound)-40(w/o sound). None of the online stuff works, but thats to be expected.
Long loading times. Game plays, albeit with frequent stuttering and freezing. Character is unable to swim through ink, making the player unable to pass the tutorial. The camera zooms away abnormally to the point where it goes under the map. Sound effects are also very quiet.
Game works very good. The tutorial is finally possible to complete. 60 fps in all menus, 50-60 in any level. Worst FPS is about 30 in the hub area, but it is not a major part of the game. The game stutters when it only has to load something for the first time. The audio is still rather glitched, although has been improved. Turned off audio makes the game stay at high 50s, so that is a recommended compromise if you don't particularly mind no audio. Some minor visual glitches are present, for example - there's no top of an ink fountain. Other than that, an incredible jump for performance and playability of this game after only one revision!
It's possible to get past the training area by using mouse+right click to aim up and down, but the menu afterwards doesn't allow you to press zl+zr so you get stuck there now.
Game now fully playable(offline). No online capabilities, minor text and texture glitches. Sound is ok, but there is a bug that maxes out the volume briefly(not fun...) while swiming in ink.
Dissapointing. Slight FPS boost in the plaza/lobby,slight FPS decrease in other areas. Major stuttering even with a dumped cache when running the game first time (w/ save), slightly lowered stutters then normal when running later.
The psychedelic colour glitch makes it hard to play but still possible. Marie and Callie Amiibos are useable though their text is broken. Other three amiibos require names which I can't seem to set.
Constant 60fps but with a lot of micro stuttering. Psychedelic Color bug from 1.6.1 is fixed. Crashes from 1.6.1 are also seemingly fixed. Some texture bugs are only present when texture compression is disabled. On any setting there is missing text in certain UI items.
Works, except for glitches mentioned before. I didn't encounter the ink railing bug during the campaign, but graphics glitches seem to reset by pausing and unpausing. Uninkable blocks in the overworld became inkable after entering and exiting a level.
Only working part is any part before the hub world. When entering the hub world, the game starts to slow down, then causes a crash. Restarting seems to slow down the crash, so I'll update this if I can somehow stop it. EDIT: I have been able to stop the crash, however now it runs at a low 18 fps. It also shows a ton of graphical issues when the camera pans down to the main character. Sadly the game still crashes after the news.
(1.8.0b, public release) Crash from 1.8.0 is fixed. The unpaintable surfaces bug is still present, but the teleporting ink railing bug seems to be fixed.
(1.8.0b, public release) The unprintable surfaces bug has taken many deaths to fix, I have found my text is corrupted (do not know if I can fix it will research further)
Can't ink moving surfaces. Dying solves this problem. The more you play the level, the less of a problem this becomes. I think the moving surfaces can only be inked once they've been added to the shader cache.
